Required before any services can be reserved, our Meet and Greet Visit is an initial consultation designed to let you and your pet get acquainted with us and for us to get familiar with your pet and their routine. During the visit we will: 
      - Go over paperwork and get detailed information about caring for your pet,        including likes/dislikes, veterinary information, and medications your pet is             currently taking.
      - Address any questions or concerns you may have.
      - Go over schedule and pricing.
      - Collect payment
      - Pick up keys. Your keys will be assigned a code and stored securely. You’ll         also have the option of keeping your keys on file using our Ready-Key                   Service to simplify future visits, and to avoid key drop-off/pick-up         surcharges. Please have two (2) spare keys ready at the time of the                  consult. An additional trip to pick up keys will incur a $10 surcharge.

$15 per visit
Visits last approximately 30-minutes and are ideal not only when you’re away on vacation or a business trip but also if you simply need to be out of town overnight or even when you have a long day away and just need us for one afternoon visit. These visits include supervised feedings, watering, administering medications, playtime, a short walk for dogs, brushing, cleaning litter box(es) and of course lots of love, attention and companionship. In addition, many household services are included such as turning on/off lights and opening/closing shades and curtains to give your home a “lived-in“ look, bringing in the mail and newspaper, a quick security check, watering plants, checking heat/air conditioning and more at your request. We will also be happy to provide you with free daily e-mail or phone call updates to let you know how your pet’s day went.

Price is for one dog or up to 3 cats or small animals. $2 additional per visit for each additional dog or each additional 1-3 cats or small animals. Most dogs require 2-3 visits per day on days when no one is home. Most cats are fine with one visit per day. Up to 4 visits per day available.

Overnight Sleep-over
$60 includes AM and PM visits
We keep your pet company all night while you‘re away. Great for puppies, elderly animals, pets with separation anxiety issues or any pets who really miss you when you’re gone and just need a little extra TLC. We typically arrive between 8-9PM and leave between 6-7AM. Morning and evening visits are included. For security reasons, The Neigh-borhood Pet Nanny does not make late night visits so if your pet‘s schedule requires a visit after 9PM, care needs to be requested as an Overnight Sleep-over. Additional fee may apply to households of more than 3 dogs, more than 8 pets total or those with horses or livestock needing care.

$15 for a 30-minute walk
Does your dog need a mid-day break? Does he get lonely while you’re at work all day? This visit is great for seniors, puppies or active dogs who need an exercise break in the middle of the day. In addition to being great exercise, our walks also offer a wonderful source of mental stimulation for your four-legged friend helping to keep him healthy, happy and calmer. Each walk ends with fresh water, a towel rub-down in wet weather and some “winding down time” of quiet play, brushing and petting. It’s a great treat for your dog’s body, mind and spirit… and it gives him something to look forward to every day!  Add $5 per walk for each additional dog, maximum 3 dogs total per walk. During severe weather conditions, for your dog’s well-being a short walk and potty break will be followed by indoor play
 time.   

$20 for a 45-minute visit/walk; $25 for a 60-minute visit/walk; $5 for each additional 15 minutes
Additional visit time may be needed for pets who need just a little extra play or cuddle time, for very active dogs who need more than the 15-minute walk given in the regular pet-sitting visit or the 30-minute regular dog walk, or for pets with special diets or medical needs. This is also good for homes with extensive lawn, garden or plant watering needs. Extended visits can be requested on the Schedule Form under the “special requests” section at the bottom of the form.

$12 for a 15-minute visit
Short visits can be used for a potty break, a quick turnout to stretch the legs, some extra playtime, a quick check-in and litter box cleaning for your easy-care kitty, fresh water check and a third feeding for puppies, administering mid-day medication, or a quick home security check. The Neigh-borhood Pet Nanny can be a very valuable part of training your new puppy or preventing accidents with an older dog. Value visits can be requested on the Schedule Form under the “special requests” section at the bottom of the form.

$20 for one horse, $5 each additional horse, per visit
Care visits include feeding, watering, turn-out, stall cleaning, putting fly masks/blankets/turn-out rugs/fly sheets on and off, spraying with fly spray, administering medications/supplements, basic grooming and of course treats (if they‘re allowed) and lots of love and attention. As horse owners for the past 40 years, we know that horses find comfort and security in their normal daily routine and we will carry out your specific directions as closely as possible to keep things as normal as possible so that when you get home, you‘ll find your herd happy, healthy and content.

$25 per hour, one hour minimum
Let us take your pet to his vet or grooming appointment, doggie daycare, trainer or anywhere else he needs to go.

$15 per visit, 30-minute maximum
Ideal for clients that do not have pets but need home security while they are away on business or travel. Security for your residence can be a major concern while you’re away. Ease your mind with the knowledge that your home is being checked on by an insured and bonded professional. We will perform a 15-point security check which includes assessing the residence to make sure everything is in place with no signs of intrusion or disturbance, check heating/AC systems, test all water fixtures, check for visible water leaks, check all windows/doors and secure if needed, turn lights on/off, adjust window coverings, water plants, bring in mail/newspapers/packages and more. Additional fees will apply if service workers or law enforcement need to be called in due to a problem.

$10 for 10 minutes or less
Short drop-in to transfer keys (pick up or drop off), or if you take advantage of our Ready-Key Service, we will gladly drop in to check to make sure your iron/stove/coffee pot is off, close windows before the storm hits, turn off your sprinkler or hose or come let you in if you’re locked out of your home. This service would also include additional consultations after your initial Meet and Greet Visit, either as requested by you or as deemed necessary by us due to a new special-care pet in your household or major changes in care or routine.

$20 per hour plus incurred costs
We’ll take care of those little tasks you’re unable to finish before you leave town (drop off/pick up dry cleaning, return video rentals, pick up mail packages, etc.). One hour minimum.

$15 per hour plus incurred costs
We’ll prepare your home for your return (light cleaning, purchase groceries-fresh milk, bread, etc.). One hour minimum.    

$5 surcharge per visit
Surcharge is applied to any visits on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day.

$.60 per mile one way will apply beyond 10 miles from our location in Lewiston. This fee covers additional driving time and fuel costs. Mileage is rounded to the nearest mile.
